Louisiana Heads East Looking to Stay Perfect in SBC Play

The Ragin’ Cajuns are 2-0 so far in conference action
STATESBORO, Georgia – The Louisiana men's tennis team hits the road looking to remain undefeated in Sun Belt Conference play as they face Georgia Southern on Saturday and Coastal Carolina on Sunday.
Oriol Fillat Gimenez and Vasil Dimitrov look to reach a career milestone of 50 wins between doubles and singles. Fillat Gimenez enters play with 49 wins while Dimitrov has 48 wins to his name. Samuel Kyjaci is playing well of late and picked up his eighth win of the year in Louisiana's win over Georgia State. The sophomore is now 4-0 on court four this spring.
Georgia Southern is 12-6 on the year and 3-1 in SBC play. The Eagles have been a tough team at home with a 5-1 record. They started conference play with wins over Troy and South Alabama before falling to nationally-ranked Old Dominion. They bounced back with a 4-1 win at James Madison on Sunday. They're led by Pierre Mouesca's 11-4 record in singles and in doubles, Aaron James Williams and Laurent Julia Calac are 11-3 this year.
Coastal comes into the weekend 6-8 and 2-2 in conference with wins over Troy and James Madison. The Chanticleers will face Southern Miss to open the weekend on Saturday. Emiliano Gonzalez Balmaceda and Christopher Norlin lead them in singles with seven victories each.
Louisiana then returns home to face South Alabama and Troy in their final homestand of the season.
