The Ragin’ Cajuns return home to face TJC on Friday
NEW ORLEANS – On Tuesday, the Louisiana women's tennis team fell to in-state foe Tulane, 4-0, in New Orleans.
The day began with doubles which came down to the wire. The Green Wave grabbed the first doubles contest but the other two went deep into the set. Courts two and three went back and forth, but Tulane was just able to squeak out a 7-5 decision on court two for the doubles point.
Rocio Navarro earned a hard-fought first set win, 7-6 (7-1), but her match went unfinished as Tulane took matches on courts one, two, and six to clinch the match.
The Cajuns return to the court this Friday to face Tyler Junior College with first serve scheduled for 3 p.m. from Cajun Courts.
