LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana women's tennis team looks to get back into the win column on Friday as they host Tyler Junior College at 3 p.m. at Cajun Courts.
The Ragin' Cajuns look for their third win of the year against TJC. Three Cajuns enter the week with multiple singles wins this season. Angelique Berrat, Ivana Castillo, and Rocio Navarro all have a pair of wins this year. The Cajuns have two wins this year on court one, courtesy of Berrat, while also winning a pair of contests on courts five and six.
In doubles, Castillo and Navarro are undefeated on court three, with a 2-0 record. On court two, the Cajuns also have a pair of victories, thanks to Kamea Medora and Nina Krecklenberg.
Tyler Junior College has only competed once this spring in an exhibition with UT Tyler. Last season the Apaches won six matches and went 4-2 at home.
Louisiana returns to the court on Tuesday, February 18 as they host McNeese at 5 p.m. at Cajun Courts.
