Louisiana Returns to Play on Tuesday in Memphis

11/24/2025 1:14:00 PM | Women's Basketball

It’s the start of a busy three-game week on the road for the Ragin’ Cajuns

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Basketball team returns to action following a 10-day break on Tuesday, November 25 at Elma Roane Fieldhouse in Memphis, Tennessee.

Louisiana (0-4) meets host-Memphis (3-3) in a 7:00 p.m. contest that resumes that squad's current five-game road stretch. Live coverage is available on ESPN+ and The Goat 103.3 FM/1420 AM.

Tuesday's game marks the first outing for the Cajuns since a near-miss at Nicholls on November 14. UL used a 20-10 run in the fourth quarter to be in a position to twice tie and once claim victory in the final 21 seconds.

The stop in Memphis is the third in a five-game road stretch that began on November 10 at then-No. 4 Texas. It's the first of three games for UL on a busy Thanksgiving Week, with the squad traveling to the Alario Center in Westwego, Louisiana afterwards for the Big Easy Classic from Friday-Saturday, November 28-29.

The Ragin' Cajuns and Tigers are meeting exactly 23 years to the date from the last matchup held between the two programs, when Memphis visited Lafayette on November 25, 2002 to wrap up a brief home-and-home series held over the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons.

Louisiana is paced by the Sun Belt's top-scoring freshman in Amijah Price (15.3) who leads the team in field goals made (22), free throws made (14), total rebounds (30) and steals (11). Memphis, which took then-No. 13 Ole Miss to overtime last Tuesday, is charged by Chaé Harris (17.8) and Daejah Richmond (11.0) who have combined to average 28-plus points and account for 10 of the Tigers' 27 blocks.
