Louisiana to Host Kent State in First Round of MAC-SBC Challenge

It’ll be the second all-time meeting between the schools
LAFAYETTE, Louisiana – The Louisiana men's basketball team will host Kent State on Monday, November 4 in the first round of the 2024-25 MAC-SBC Challenge. It will be the first trip to Lafayette for the Golden Flashes and the second all-time meeting between the schools.
Last season the Cajuns won their home contest of the MAC-SBC Challenge, beating Bowling Green, 86-60, on February 11. Louisiana fell to Toledo in the first round, 87-78, at Toledo. Overall the Sun Belt went 15-9, including 10-2 at home, to win the challenge in its first season.
This contest marks the second all-time meeting between Louisiana and Kent State. The Ragin' Cajuns fell to the Golden Flashes, 76-67, in Kent, Ohio back in 2011.
