The Cajuns hit the road for their final two matches of the regular season
LAFAYETTE, Louisiana - Angelique Berrat continued her strong play on Sunday by earning her fourth straight singles win. Despite her win, the Louisiana women's tennis team fell to Troy, 6-1, at Cajun Courts.
Louisiana battled on court three in doubles. Cristina Tchanichev and Nina Krecklenberg were locked in a 4-4 tie when their match went unfinished.
Beret got the Cajuns on the board with her 6-4, 6-2 victory on court five. On court one, Carla Urchoeguia had a long battle in set one but came out on the wrong side, 7-6 (10-8), 6-0. Jenaila Prulla went to a third set on court three but couldn't pull out the match, falling 6-1, 4-6, 6-4.
Louisiana hits the road next Saturday, April 14, to take on Texas State with first serve at 10 a.m. from San Marcos.
