Berrat Wins Third Straight as Louisiana Takes on Georgia State

The sophomore now has five wins on the year
LAFAYETTE, Louisiana - Angelique Berrat has played her best tennis of late and that trend continued on Saturday as the sophomore picked up her third straight win in singles. It wasn't enough though as the Cajuns fell 4-1 to Georgia State.
The visitors took the doubles point to start the day. On court one, the match was back-and-forth before it went unfinished with Carla Urchoeguia and Berrat trailing 5-4.
Berrat got the Cajuns on the board with a 6-3, 6-1 win on court four. Nina Krecklenberg was about to head to a third set at 2-6, 6-4 before her match went unfinished. Urchoeguia was leading in her third set at 6-3, 1-6, 2-1 when her match went unfinished on court one.
The Cajuns return to action tomorrow in their final home match of the season against Troy beginning at 10 a.m.
