Grandvincent Earns SBC Player of the Week Honors

The freshman has won his last three matches
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - Freshman Sacha Grandvincent was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week after clinching Louisiana's victory over No. 56 Charlotte over the weekend.
Grandvincent won both his matches in the 4-3 win. The freshman got the Cajuns going with a 6-2 win on court one doubles with partner Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez, their third straight victory.
With the Cajuns leading the match 3-2, Grandvincent clinched the victory on court two. Trailing 3-1 in the third set, the freshman stormed back for the 6-0, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3 win to seal the match. Overall, the freshman has won three in a row on court two in singles as the Cajuns have won four straight matches as a team.
The Cajuns open SBC action tomorrow at 10 a.m. against Coastal Carolina at Cajun Courts.
