Ragin’ Cajuns Fall in Final Match of Four-Game Road Trip

Louisiana returns to Lafayette next weekend for their final home matches of the year
HUNTINGTON, West Virginia - A day after a thrilling win over App State, the Louisiana women's tennis team fell to Marshall, 4-0, on Saturday in Huntington, West Virginia.
The Ragin' Cajuns had a chance to take the doubles point but the Thundering Herd came away with it. On court one, Angelique Berrat and Carla Urchoeguia went down to the wire before falling, 6-4. Kamea Medora and Nina Krecklenberg were also locked in a tight battle on two, trailing 5-4 when the match was called.
In singles, Paige Duncan and Angelique Berrat forced a third set before their matches went unfinished. Krecklenberg had won a long first set, 7-5, before her match went unfinished as well.
The Cajuns return home next weekend for their final two home matches of the season. They'll host Georgia State on Saturday before taking on Troy on Sunday in their home finale.
