Louisiana Comes From Behind in Win Over App State

The Ragin’ Cajuns trailed 3-2 before winning the final two matches
BOONE, North Carolina - It went right down to the wire but the Louisiana women's tennis team earned a comeback win on Friday at App State, 4-3.
The Cajuns dropped the first doubles contest before storming back to win the point. Nina Krecklenberg and Kamea Medora continued their strong play together with a 6-3 win on court two. Court one would go to a tiebreaker but Carla Urchoeguia and Angelique Berrat came away victorious, 7-6 (7-5), for the crucial point.
Playing on only three courts at a time, the Mountaineers took the lead with wins on courts one and three. Cristina Tchanichev dropped the first set but came back to win on court two, 2-6, 7-5, 7-5, to tie the score at 2-2. App State took the match on court four to put themselves on the verge of clinching.
Berrat tied the score again with a three-set victory, 6-0, 3-6, 6-2, on court five, leaving the match up to court six. There Nina Krecklenberg faced little resistance in a 6-0, 6-0 victory to clinch the match.
The Cajuns are back in action at Marshall tomorrow with first serve scheduled for 9 a.m. in Huntington, West Virginia.
