NORFOLK, Virginia - The Louisiana women's tennis team fell to No. 68 Old Dominion, 7-0, on Sunday in Norfolk, Virginia.
The Cajuns and Monarchs battled in doubles to start the day. On court three, Kamea Medora and Nina Krecklenberg were tied at four before their match was called as ODU took the contests on courts one and two.
Krecklenberg won the opening set of her singles match before falling in a third set tiebreaker, 4-6, 6-2, 10-3. After dropping the first set, Jenaila Prulla battled back to force a third but couldn't pull out the win, 6-0, 5-7, 10-6. The Monarchs won the matches on courts one, two, four, and five in straight sets.
Next up for Louisiana is a trip to Boone, North Carolina to face App State on Friday, March 29.
