Cajuns Close the Fall at Home

Louisiana ends the fall season at Cajun Courts on Saturday
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana women's tennis team wraps up the fall schedule this Saturday at Cajun Courts.
Last time out the Cajuns earned 11 victories at the ITA Southern Regional Championships in Auburn, Alabama. Angelique Berrat won her opening match in the main draw before falling in the second round in a close 7-5, 7-6 (7-5) contest. In doubles Jenaila Prulla and Kamea Medora won their main draw opening round before falling to a pairing from host school Auburn.
In consultation matches, Louisiana had a strong performance going 9-1. Rocio Navarro and Ana Martinez Vaquero each won three matches while Prulla won two and Medora one.
Due to the weather, the Cajuns will just play on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. with a round of doubles followed by two rounds of singles.
