Louisiana has 26 wins through two weeks of fall action
AUBURN, Alabama – The Louisiana women's tennis team continues their fall schedule this week at the ITA Southern Regional in Auburn, Alabama.
Louisiana has had a strong start to the fall, winning 26 combined matches through two events. The Cajuns look to have a strong performance against the best of the Southern Region.
Last time out the Cajuns won nine total matches against Chatanooga, Kennesaw State, and Stetson. Angelique Berrat and Ana Martinez Vaquero each had three wins, one each in singles and two as a doubles pairing. Kamea Medora won two in singles and two more in doubles and is registered to play this weekend with Jenaila Prulla.
The ITA Southern Regional is hosted by Auburn and features schools from the Sun Belt, SEC, Conference USA, Atlantic Sun, Southland, Southern Conference, and the American Athletic Conference. The action begins at 9 a.m. at the Yarborough Tennis Center. Full draws and tournament information can be found here.
