Kyjaci Looks for Repeat Performance at CCB Collegiate Invite

The sophomore took home his draw’s singles title last season
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – The Louisiana men's tennis team is ready for the Country Club of Birmingham Collegiate Invite this week looking to build on their success there from last season.
Last season, Samuel Kyjaci won the title in the Blue Singles Draw and two out of three matches in the Red Doubles Draw. Mason Landreth also won two matches in his draw.
Last week, the doubles team of William Ribero and Leonard Tramolay reached the round of 16 and Louisiana won 14 consolation matches at the ITA Southern Regional. Fillat Giminez had a solid campaign on the singles side, advancing out of the opening round of the main draw. His success didn't stop there, as he also performed well in the doubles main draw, advancing out of the first round with William Jade.
Slated to appear alongside the Ragin' Cajuns will be host Samford, Kennesaw State, Tulane, North Alabama, Southern Miss, Belmont, UAB, Jacksonville State, and South Alabama.
Louisiana closes the fall schedule next weekend at home at the Cajuns Classic at City Club.
