Ragin’ Cajuns Head to LSU for Mid-Week Match

Louisiana faces LSU in their final tune-up before the ITA Indoor Nationals
BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - The Louisiana men's tennis team won't have far to travel for their next contest as they take on LSU in Baton Rouge on Wednesday. It's the team's final match before heading to the ITA Indoor Nationals.
The Cajuns opened the spring last weekend in Florida against Florida Atlantic and Florida Gulf Coast dropping both matches. The team picked up victories from a pair of freshmen, Samuel Kyjaci and Mason Landreth, and Vasil Dimitrov in the opening weekend of action.
Kyjaci won his first match on Friday against Florida Atlantic on court two, 6-2, 6-1, in straight sets. Landreth picked up his victory in three sets on Saturday, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 against Florida Gulf Coast. Dimitrov needed just two sets for his victory on Saturday, taking it 7-5, 6-2.
This will be the team match of the spring for the Tigers, who have only played in the Miami Invitational in 2024. Last season they defeated the Cajuns on their home courts 4-0 before finishing the season 14-11 overall.
