Cajuns Go for Third Straight Road Win in SBC Championship Rematch

The Ragin’ Cajuns look to finish their four-game road trip 3-1
MOBILE, Alabama – After a pair of convincing road wins, the Louisiana men's basketball team looks to make it three in a row on Saturday against South Alabama in the Mitchell Center in Mobile, Alabama. The game is the first meeting between the schools since last year's Sun Belt Conference Championship which saw the Cajuns come away with a 71-66 win.
Louisiana was in complete control on Wednesday at Texas State in an 86-68 win. Five players finished in double figures and the Ragin' Cajuns led by as many as 35 in the second half. Kobe Julien led the offense with 18 points while Themus Fulks recorded his first double-double of the year with 13 points and 10 assists. Hosana Kitenge, Kentrell Garnett, and London Fields all added 11 points.
South Alabama has also won two in a row, handing both Marshall and Troy their first defeats in SBC action. On Thursday the Jaguars held off the Trojans, 74-71, for their 10th win of the year. Isiah Gaiter is the team's leading scorer at 16.7 points per game and is one of just two players this year to start every game for the Jags. Eight players average over 20 minutes a game while 10 different players have made a start this season.
