Kajin Named LSWA Men’s Tennis Player of the Year

LAFAYETTE, La. - Karlo Kajin was named the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Men's Co-Player of the Year the organization announced Tuesday, September 12.
Kajin, a senior last season, also earned a spot on the LSWA First Team as voted upon by the media and sports information directors of Louisiana.
Kajin earned All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team honors for singles and was a First and Second Team selection in doubles with different partners. He finished the season ranked No. 72 in the country with partner Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez and won a total of 11 doubles contests. In singles, he won 12 matches and ended the season on court one for the Ragin' Cajuns.
There was a three-way tie for Player of the Year, a first in the award's history. Joining Kajin was Karim Al-Amin of New Orleans and Stefan Lainovic of LSU.
