Dimitrov Earns SBC Player of the Week Honors

Dimitrov helped the Ragin’ Cajuns to two wins to stay on top of the conference
NEW ORLEANS - After helping the Louisiana men's tennis team to a pair of big wins last weekend, Vasil Dimitrov was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week. Dimitrov earned a pair of singles wins to keep the Ragin' Cajuns unbeaten in conference play.
Dimitrov picked up his wins over Troy and South Alabama in what were both 4-3 contests. Saturday's victory over Troy was the only match to finish in straight sets. On Sunday, Dimitrov's win on court four clinched Louisiana's first win over South Alabama since 2015. Through the first two weeks of SBC action the Cajuns are atop the league and the only unbeaten team remaining.
