Louisiana resumes play on April 3-4 at MSU's Mossy Oak Collegiate
HUMBLE, Texas – Eli Ortego posted a final round score of 2-over-par 74 and finished in a tie with teammate Malan Potgieter to lead the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team on the final day of the All American on Tuesday at the Golf Club of Houston.

Louisiana, competing in a 21-team field which featured six teams in the GolfStat Top-50, finished the 54-hole event in 15th place at 895. Ole Miss claimed the tournament crown after posting a low score of 7-under 281 in the final round and 855 for the event.

No. 14-ranked Tennessee and No. 36 Louisville tied for second at 859 with No. 17 Kansas State (866) and Sam Houston (868) rounding out the top five.

Ortego sandwiched a pair of 74's around a 1-over-73 in Monday's second round to finish tied for 33rd place in the 108-player field at 5-over-221. Ortego started on the back nine at No. 13 in the shotgun start and made the turn at 3-over before posting a birdie on the front at No. 8 to finish at 1-under 35.

Potgieter, who finished at 221 for the event, opened the day with birdies on his first two holes before making the turn at even-par and posting a pair of double bogeys to close out the round.

Jake Marler turned in his best round of the tournament with a 4-over-76 to finish at 241 for the Ragin' Cajuns. Charlie Flynn posted a 5-over-77 in the final round with Matt Weber posting an 83.

Burke Alford and Dylan Keating, both playing individually on the GCH Member's Course, posted final rounds of 74 and 84 to close out play. Alford, who recorded a 2-over-74 in Monday's second round, posted an identical score in the final round to finish at 226 overall.

Louisiana will resume play on April 3-4 when it travels to West Point, Miss., to compete in Mississippi State's Mossy Oak Collegiate Championship at the Mossy Oak Golf Club.
