Darkness Suspends Play at Mossy Oak Collegiate

WEST POINT, Miss. – With the start of the Mossy Oak Collegiate Championship pushed back due to course conditions, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns had its second round of action suspended by darkness during the opening day on Monday at Mossy Oak Golf Club.
Play will resume with the completion of the second round at 8 a.m. with the final round played immediately after. Live results will be available at GolfStat.com and RaginCajuns.com.
The 18-team field, featuring six teams in the GolfStat Top-25 and nine overall in the Top-50, was delayed by just over two hours for Monday's 36 holes of play. Louisiana opened the day with a team score of 3-over-par 291 before finishing at 12-over when play was suspended.
Malan Potgieter and Eli Ortego each posted rounds below par in the opening 18 holes with Potgieter recording his second career round in the 60's with a 3-under 69. Ortego shot a 5-under-par 31 on the back nine en route to a 2-under-70 in the opening round.
Burke Alford (75), Matt Weber (77) and Hudson Dubinski (84) rounded out the Ragin' Cajuns lineup.
