Weather Shuffles Start of Louisiana Classics

Two events will be run Friday night with the rest competing on Saturday
LAFAYETTE – Due to impending inclement weather in the area forecast for Friday, March 17, the Louisiana Classics track and field meet has moved the schedule around. Two events will now take place late on Friday with rest rescheduled for Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
The Classics will now start at 6 p.m. on Friday beginning with the 3000-meter steeple chase. Following the conclusion of the men's and women's events the 5K will close the day. Saturday's events will begin at 9 a.m. with the women's discus and the men's javelin throws.
