Louisiana wraps-up their non-conference slate in midweek action
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana women's tennis team finishes their non-conference schedule tomorrow in midweek action against Gonzaga in Lafayette. The match begins at 4 p.m. from Cajun Courts.
The Cajuns dropped two close matches last week to open Sun Belt Conference play. They hung in with No. 24 Old Dominion on Friday. Three matches were taken to a third set while a fourth was in a second set tiebreaker before the match was called. On Sunday against JMU, it was a similar match coming down to the wire. Angelique Berrat came away victorious as did Carla Urchoeguia, each picking up their fifth win of the spring in singles.
Gonzaga comes in 7-5 on the season and have won three in a row. Adrianna Sosnowska and Cate Broerman lead the team with six wins each.
