Berrat and Urchoeguia Earn Singles Wins Over JMU

The duo each picked up their fifth singles victory of the spring
LAFAYETTE – Angelique Berrat and Carla Urchoeguia each earned their fifth win of the spring season on Sunday against James Madison at Cajun Courts. For Berrat is was a straight set victory while Urchoeguia had to come-from-behind after dropping the opening set. It was Berrat's fifth straight win and improved her record to 3-0 on court three.
The visiting Dukes took the doubles point after winning on courts two and three. The Ragin' Cajuns kept things close in singles action. After the Cajuns fell on court one, Berrat's win on court three pulled them back within one, 2-1. The Dukes knocked off Momoko Yoshimura, 7-5, 6-3, after taking down Laure-Line Monnoyer, 6-3, 6-3, to clinch the match. The sides played it out, allowing Urchoeguia to claim her match, 1-6, 6-2, 6-2, coming back in convincing fashion for the win.
