Louisiana Heads into Corpus Riding Three Match Win Streak

The Ragin’ Cajuns are set to face New Mexico State in the first round
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Louisiana men's tennis team is heating up heading into the H-E-B Tournament of Champions hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi from Friday-Saturday, February 17-18 at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The Ragin' Cajuns face New Mexico State in the first round on Friday at 9 a.m.
The Ragin' Cajuns (4-3) earned a pair of wins in the Louisiana Winter Classic at Cajun Courts to push their winning streak to three. Playing as the host, Louisiana rolled by Nicholls, 6-1, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, 4-1, going undefeated in doubles play.
Heading into the weekend Kacper Dworak, winner of four straight, and Karlo Kajin, winner of three straight, are hot in singles play. Dworak has carried that strong play of late into doubles action where he is undefeated with teammate Vasil Dimitrov in four contests this season.
New Mexico State (1-6) earned their first win of the spring on Tuesday against Western New Mexico. The Aggies have played well on the top singles line, winning the last two matches. The Ragin' Cajuns side of the bracket also includes Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and DePaul. Other first round matchups include Abilene Christian vs. Radford and Oral Roberts vs. UTSA.
