Cajuns Head West To Houston To Face Rice on Sunday

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Tennis team returns to action after a two-week break on Sunday when it travels to Houston to face Rice University at Advantage Indoor.
First serve is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Live results will be available on the Women's Tennis schedule page at RaginCajuns.com.
Louisiana (0-1) returns to the court after dropping a 5-2 contest at Mississippi State on Jan. 15. Momoko Yoshimura and Carla Urchoeguia each recorded three-set victories in the their 2023 debut.
Rice (1-1) had its Saturday match against Elon canceled due to rain in the Houston area. The Owls opened the season with a 7-0 win over Lamar on Jan. 19 before dropping a 4-3 contest to Baylor on Jan. 23.
After concluding its match with the Owls, Louisiana will return home and officially open its 11-match home schedule on Friday, Feb. 10 when it faces Southern University in an 11 a.m. contest at Cajun Courts.
