FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
- Trending Upward: The Ragin' Cajuns have won five of their last six matches to clinch a winning record for the second straight season under Kristi Gray's leadership. Louisiana is one win shy of matching their win total from Gray's inaugural season (2021) and a pair from setting a new benchmark in her tenure.
- Comfortable Spot: Back playing outside hitter after filling in at libero early in the season, Coco Gillett is finding her groove. She's riding a streak of four consecutive matches with a double-double and has produced double digits in kills in six of the last seven matches.
- Collective Effort: It's been a group effort for Louisiana in Sun Belt Conference play with six different players having scored more than 70 or more kills (ranging from 70 to 107).
- Another Level of Offense: Right side hitters Celeste Darling and Emery Judkins are coming off a strong series vs. Southern Miss, the duo combining for 44 kills (22 apiece) and both hitting .250-plus.
- Future Rising: Freshman Lauryn Hill has stepped up in conference play, having tallied the third-most kills (96) and second-most digs (145).
