Louisiana Track and Field Continues 2022 Campaign at FasTrack Collegiate Challenge

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Track and Field will continue its 2022 indoor campaign at the FasTrack Collegiate Challenge 10 a.m. Saturday in Houston, Texas.
Lon Badeaux's squad will travel 46 competitors to compete in the meet at Yeoman Fieldhouse on the University of Houston campus.
Louisiana is looking to build off a strong performance in the Ted Nelson Invitational a week ago.
Sophie Daigle began her second campaign by shattering the indoor 5k record with a time of 16.58.55.
The Ragin' Cajuns 4x400m women's relay team continued to look strong after an impressive season a year ago. Louisiana's foursome took third last week with a time of 3:50.85.
Sophomore's Ryan Theyard and John Joseph highlighted the performances on the men's side as they placed second and fourth respectively in the triple jump with lengths of 15.07m and 14.67m.
