LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Baseball will meet the North Alabama Lions for a non-conference, three-game series starting on Friday, May 7, and running through Sunday, May 9.
The Ragin' Cajuns (23-20, 9-9 SBC) will be playing the Lions (7-34) for the first time in program history.

Louisiana Baseball's Brandon Talley has been named to the NCWBA Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List. The award is given annually to the best relief pitcher in college baseball. Talley, who originally came to Louisiana as a hitter, is the Ragin' Cajuns' premier relief pitcher. The Princeton, Texas, native has made 21 appearances out the bullpen and boasts a 1.63 ERA and a team-high six saves.
