Brooklynne Wilson (women's discus) and Serenity Rogers (women's 100-meter hurdles) enter the meet ranked second among SBC athletes in their respective events for Louisiana with Reagann Leleux ranked in the top-five in the SBC in both the women's 100-meter hurdles and pole vault.

Louisiana's Brock Appiah (men's 200-meters), Tyrell Hargrove (men's 400-meters) and Mixon (men's pole vault) are ranked in the top-five in their events among SBC competitors with Shonita Brome (women's 400-meter hurdles), Taylor Davis (women's high jump), Frankie Griffin (women's high jump), Emoni Coleman (women's 800-meters) and Osayi Omorodion (women's 100-meter hurdles) all scheduled to compete.

Mixon recorded three top-five finishes, including an outdoor personal-best in the men's pole vault, while Omorodion posted a pair of second-place finishes. Coleman claimed the women's 800-meters for Louisiana with Rylan Theyard and the freshmen tandem of Tyren Hannah and Haley Salsbury each posting a pair of top-five performances.
