Louisiana Golf Wraps Up Fall Schedule at Hoakalei Invitational

EWA BEACH, Hawaii – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Golf team wraps up the fall portion of its 2021-22 schedule beginning Monday when it opens play at the Hoakalei CC Invitational at Hoakalei Country Club.

Louisiana, making its second trip to the island of Oahu in the last three seasons, will tee off the 54-hole event beginning at 12:30 p.m., CT with 36 holes on Monday before playing the final 18 holes on Tuesday. The Ragin' Cajuns are joined in the 14-team field by Sun Belt Conference schools Texas State and ULM, along with host Hawaii.

Also included in the field is Abilene Christian, Army West Point, Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Loyola Marymount, San Diego, UC San Diego and Utah Valley State.

Louisiana, coming off an 11^th-place finish last week at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate, will be led by Peter Hinnant in the five-man lineup. Hinnant, one of three players to play in Louisiana's four previous events of the fall, leads the Ragin' Cajuns with a 72.25 scoring average after posting a 54-hole score of 10-under-par 206.

Joining Hinnant in the lineup is Charlie Flynn (72.58), Hudson Dubinski (75.33) and freshman Eli Ortego (73.25) with fellow freshman Burke Alford set to make his Louisiana debut.
