Men’s Tennis to Play at Middle Tennessee

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Men's Tennis team is set to travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn., for a match against Middle Tennessee at 11 a.m. on Monday.
Even though the Ragin' Cajuns dropped their opening match to Texas, 7-0, Kacper Dworak and Ivailo Keremedchiev had a great showing, winning their doubles match, 6-4, over Siem Woldeab and Eliot Spizzirri. Last year, Spizzirri was crowned a US Open Junior Doubles Champion, while also owning a Top 20 ITF Juniors ranking.
The last time these former Sun Belt foes squared off was at Cajun Courts in 2013. when Louisiana fell 4-1 in the match.
The Blue Raiders have one player, Oskar Michalek, ranked at No. 102 within the ITA Preseason Top 150 Singles Players Rankings. Additionally, Middle Tennessee was ranked as high as No. 28 and finished No. 42 nationally last sesaon.
