Ragin' Cajuns looking for first-ever win against the Green Wave
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Women's Tennis team is set to host Tulane this weekend. The match is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, at Cajun Courts and will start at 10 a.m.
The Ragin' Cajuns have put together an impressive season and are currently 9-1 and on top of the Sun Belt Women's Tennis standings. Louisiana is 0-4 all-time against the Green Wave, with the last match coming in 2018.
Juniors Floriane Picaut and Dana Radovanovic are leading the team this year and will look help find a win on Saturday. Picaut is 5-1 in singles and 7-0 in doubles, while Radovanovic is 7-1 in singles and 6-1 in doubles. Five of their doubles wins have come together.
The Tulane match will be Louisiana's eleventh and final non-conference match of the season. Conference play will start afterwards as the Ragin' Cajuns will be in action again on March 14 and 15 when they hit the road for matches against Georgia Southern and Georgia State.
