Ragin’ Cajuns Cruise Past Owls, Win 6-1

HOUSTON - The Louisiana Men's Tennis team traveled to Houston and convincingly beat Rice, 6-1, on Friday afternoon to improve to 8-1 on the season.
Louisiana took the doubles point with the pairings of Jan Galka and Kacper Dworak and Pierce Gilheany and Karlo Kajin each winning 6-3.
Ivailo Keremedchiev was the first to exit the court in singles play, beating Campbell Salmon, 7-5, 6-0. Keremedchiev improved to 5-0 in singles matches on the year.
Galka also picked up a singles victory by beating Karol Paluch in straight sets, 6-1, 7-6.
Dworak was the third Ragin' Cajun to exit the court, picking up his first win in the No. 3 singles spot by beating Jacob Eskeland, 7-5, 6-1, while Gilheany and Fraser also added singles victories to help the Ragin' Cajuns claim the win.
