LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Baseball team will hit the road on Tuesday to face Southeastern Louisiana in Hammond, La. at 6:00 p.m., before welcoming Tulane on Wednesday for a matchup starting at 6 p.m.

The Ragin Cajuns (0-3) are coming off an emotional opening weekend at M.L. 'Tigue' Moore Field at Russo Park after unveiling a statue and retiring the number of Coach Tony Robichaux.

Brandon Young is slated to make his first start of the season on Tuesday against Southeastern Louisiana. Last year, Young went 3-5 in 54.1 innings while tallying a 4.80 ERA. Young's best performance of the 2019 season came against Arkansas State when he tossed 7.0 frames and registered 13 strikeouts.

The Lions are planning on starting freshman LHP Dalton Rogers. Rogers was a Perfect Game top-1000 player and owned an 11-1 record with a 2.73 ERA in 64.0 innings pitched during his senior year in high school.

The starting pitchers are still TBA for Wednesday's contest featuring the Tulane Green Wave. Tulane had a great opening weekend, sweeping Florida Gulf Coast at home.
