Ragin' Cajuns look to sweep season-series; move up in Sun Belt standings
TROY, Ala. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Men's Basketball team will look to move up in the Sun Belt Conference standings on Saturday when it visits league rival Troy in a 6 p.m. contest at Trojan Arena.

Louisiana (10-16, 5-10 Sun Belt) opened its three-game road trip at South Alabama on Thursday, dropping a disappointing 78-75 decision that was not decided until the final seconds. The Ragin' Cajuns, currently tied with Troy (9-17, 5-10 Sun Belt) for 10th place in the league standings, rallied from a 10-point deficit against the Trojans last month and earned a 79-62 victory at the Cajundome.

Freshman Mylik Wilson recorded his first career double-double for Louisiana in the previous meeting against the Trojans, scoring a game-high 18 points with a career-best 13 rebounds. Dou Gueye (16 points), Cedric Russell (15), Tirus Smith (15) and Calvin Temple (12) all scored in double figures for Louisiana.

Troy, under first-year coach Scott Cross, dropped a 74-71 decision to visiting ULM on Thursday. The Trojans trailed 34-19 at halftime before outscoring the Warhawks, 52-40, in the final 20 minutes.
