Louisiana Heads to Tallahassee for Three Matches in Three Days

LAFAYETTE – After beating West Florida, 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon, the Men's Tennis team will travel to Florida A&M for two matches, one taking place on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. CT and the other Friday at 2:00 p.m. CT.
Following the duals against FAMU, Louisiana will play Florida State at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Tallahassee.
Last year, Louisiana beat Florida A&M, 4-1, in the Florida State preseason event. This was also the same tournament the Ragin' Cajuns earned a victory over Nebraska (4-2), which was their first Power Five win since 2012. The matchup against Florida State will mark the fourth-straight season the team has competed in a dual at Florida State.
In their most recent victory over West Florida, Louisiana claimed four of five singles points in straight sets and Jan Galka, Kacper Dworak and Jamie Fraser all earned a singles and doubles win while Stefan Gazo and Ivailo Keremedchiev both earned their first wins as Ragin' Cajuns.
