Ragin’ Cajuns beat FAMU 4-0, Improve to 3-0

TALLAHASSE, Fla. – After beating Florida A&M, 4-0, on Thursday afternoon, Louisiana (3-0) repeated its performance on Thursday and claimed another 4-0 victory over FAMU on Friday afternoon.
The Ragin' Cajuns are now 3-0 in the early part of the 2020 campaign, their best start to a season since 2009.
Three of the singles matches went unfinished today, but Jamie Fraser, Silvio Cocito-Monoc and Pierce Gilheany were all able to pick up wins. Fraser and Gilheany both earned their second victories of the season, while Cocito-Monoc's victory was his first of the year.
The Ragin' Cajuns had a solid day on the doubles front with Cocito-Monoc and Gilheany winning, 6-3, and Ivailo Keremedchiev and Fraser claiming a 6-1 victory.
"Jamie and Ivailo played some very solid doubles today and also played well in singles, head coach Mark Jeffrey said. "The effort was good from the guys."
