Friday, Saturday action to be streamed by SEC Network Plus

62855GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After a nearly two-week hiatus, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team returns to action beginning Thursday when it heads east to compete at the Pepsi Florida Relays at Percy Beard Track, located inside James G. Pressly Stadium.
 
Action in the men's hammer throw will begin on Thursday at 4 p.m., CT, before resuming at 9 a.m., CT on Friday and 8 a.m. CT, on Saturday. Friday (12-4 p.m., CT) and Saturday (1:30-6:45 p.m., CT) competition will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus and the WatchESPN app. Live results for the three-day event will be available at RaginCajuns.com.
 
After hosting the annual Louisiana Classics from March 15-16, the Ragin' Cajuns return to Gainesville for the first time in two years in a meet that draws over 3,000 athletes from the high school, collegiate and international ranks.
 
The meet, Louisiana's third of the outdoor season, will mark the homecoming for Gainesville natives Graham Sokol and Juliette Smith.
 
Sokol, who is ranked fourth in the Sun Belt Conference in the men's hammer throw, will compete on Thursday with teammates Richard Delphin and Dominique Williams. Delphin, ranked No. 1 in the Sun Belt in the hammer throw, will also compete in the discus on Friday with Williams competing in the shot put on Saturday.
 
62854Louisiana's Damon Guidry, ranked No. 1 in the Sun Belt Conference in the men's high jump (6-11 ½), Kyle Baudoin (men's pole vault), Shaquille Singuineau (men's shot put) and Obdarius Ware (men's long jump) will to improve their marks in field events for Louisiana with Tyler Hughes (men's 110-meter hurdles), Hannes Burger (men's 1,500-meters/3,000-meter steeplechase), Jonathan Kimutai (men's 1,500-meters/3,000-meter steeplechase) and Stanley Limoh (men's 800-meters/1,500-meters) set to compete in running events.
 
Smith will take part in the Ragin' Cajuns women's relay teams with Teresa Bruning and Hailey Hesterman each competing in the women's 1,500-meter run. Claire Meyers and MacKenzie Marze are scheduled to compete in the women's javelin for Louisiana with Frankie Griffin set to participate in the women's high jump.
