Women’s Tennis Announces 2020 Schedule

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Women's Tennis team has set its spring schedule, which includes 12 home matches and eight road duals, head coach Stephanie Vallejos announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Ragin' Cajuns begin their 2020 season at home against Grambling State on Saturday, January 18, followed by two duals against Prairie View A&M on Sunday, Jan. 19.
After a loaded first weekend of competition, the team travels to Southeastern Louisiana on Sunday, Jan. 26. Following the road dual, Louisiana will be back at Cajun Courts for three matches against Southern, Northwestern State and Incarnate Word.
Louisiana then hits the road to compete against McNeese State on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Following the dual at McNeese, the Ragin' Cajuns will make an Illinois-road trip to play matches against the University of Illinois Chicago and Chicago State on Sunday, Feb. 23, and Tuesday, Feb. 25.
The team will be off from Feb. 25 until they team hosts Tulane on March 7. The rest of March is packed, including trips to Georgia Southern, Georgia State (March 14-15), Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State (March 27 & 29). Matchups with Texas State and UT Arlington (March 21-22) split the Georgia and Carolina's conference road trips.
Louisiana will be home the whole month of April, hosting four duals with conference foes South Alabama, Troy, ULM and Arkansas State.
