ITA Southern Regionals Recap

AUBURN, Ala. – The doubles pairing of Kacper Dworak and Pearse Dolan claimed two wins on Saturday morning to advance to the quarterfinals of doubles draw. The two beat Stice/Gray (AUB), 8-3, and Stewart/Kotrman (Tulane), 8-4.

Other matches on Saturday included Ivailo Keremedchiev playing Florain Broska (MSU) in the first round of the main draw. Keremedchiev, the eighth overall seed in the tournament, fell 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

On Thursday, six Ragin' Cajuns started in the singles qualifying draw and five of their six players earned first round victories advancing to the round of 32.

Pierce Gilheany, Silvio Cocito-Monoc, Jamie Fraser, Karlo Kajin, and Kacper Dworak were the five that earned a win in their first match, but none of them picked up a win following their opening round victory.
