Second Half Surge Moves No. 24 Auburn Past @RaginCajunsSOC

AUBURN, Ala. – The Louisiana soccer team couldn't overcome a late second half push by No. 24 Auburn as the Ragin' Cajuns fell 4-1 to the Tigers on Sunday at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
Louisiana drops to 1-2-1 on the season, while Auburn remains unbeaten at 4-0-0 on the year. Sophomore Victoria Ryan equaled a career-high with eight saves in the contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ragin' Cajuns got on the board first in the 43rd minute with a goal from Una Einarsdottir assisted by Lexi Turner.
The lead would be short lived though as Auburn's Hailey Whitaker notched an equalizing goal in the 44th minute.
The game would remain knotted at 1-all until the 68th minute when Bri Folds sailed a shot over the head of Ryan into the side of the net from outside the 18-yard box to give the Tigers the lead.
Auburn tacked on two late goals by Jessie Gerow and Angeline Daly in the final 10 minutes of the match to make the final 4-1.
