Cajuns Open SBC Tournament Against Top-Seeded Panthers

GSU earned 6-1 win over Cajuns in February
NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team opens play in the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Tennis Championships on Friday when it faces top-seeded and No. 37-ranked Georgia State at New Orleans' City Park/Pepsi Tennis Center.
First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. Live results, courtesy of the Sun Belt Conference, and live radio coverage (RadioTennis.com) will be available at RaginCajuns.com. The winner between Louisiana (13-12) and Georgia State (16-6) will advance to face the winner of Troy-Coastal Carolina on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Arthur Libaud and Jamie Fraser have been the top players for Louisiana in dual matches this spring with 13 and 11 wins respectively. Fraser and Libaud have combined to post a 17-5 record in doubles play, including a 15-4 mark in dual matches, for the Ragin' Cajuns with Coleman Wahlborg and Eric Perez posting a 9-7 record during the spring.
Zackery Kennedy, who is ranked No. 84 in the Oracle/ITA Division I Collegiate Men's National Singles Rankings, leads GSU in singles play. Kennedy and Sebastian Acuna have each posted a team-high 14 wins each in singles play for the Panthers with Andrei Andrukhou adding 11 wins, primarily at the No. 2 position.
Andrukhou and Kennedy have teamed together to post a 6-0 record in doubles play for Georgia State with Quentin Coulaud and Felipe Jaworski posting a 6-4 record.
