Ragin' Cajuns To Face Coastal Carolina In First SBC Meeting

Conway, S.C. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team looks to extend its five game winning streak on Saturday when it faces Coastal Carolina at the HTC Center.

Tipoff is set for 12 p.m. CST and live video and statistics are available at RaginCajuns.com. The game can be heard in the Lafayette area on ESPN 1420 AM, along with on the internet via the Radio Pup app.

Louisiana (16-8, 10-5 SBC) is currently in a tie for fourth place with Texas State in the Sun Belt Conference standings. The top four seeds earn a bye in the Sun Belt Conference tournament in March.

A win by the Cajuns on Saturday over Coastal Carolina would put Louisiana in control of its own destiny for a bye.

Coastal Carolina (11-15, 6-10 SBC) is in its first season as a member of the Sun Belt and currently sits in eighth place in the league standings.

Louisiana is led in scoring by senior guard Jaylyn Gordon (18.2 ppg). Gordon leads the Sun Belt Conference in points per game, three-point field goals made per game (2.8) and minutes played per game (38.5).
