Cajuns and Stetson Meet for Tuesday Match

Men's Tennis (6-6) go for their second win in three days vs. Stetson at Cajun Courts
LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team returns to Cajun Courts this Tuesday, March 1 for a 2:45 p.m. first serve with Stetson.
The Cajuns (6-6) are coming off a solid 4-2 win Presbyterian College this past Sunday. Senior Edgar Lopez and freshman Arthur Libaud finished the afternoon a combined 4-0, each winning a singles and doubles match.
This season, Libaud is the Cajuns most productive singles player, winning six out of 10 matches. All six of his singles wins have come from either the No. 1 or 2 spot, having split all six wins between the two positions. Lopez and junior Eric Perez have combined for a 7-5 mark in doubles play. The duo is a perfect 6-0 from the No. 2 spot.
Stetson comes into Tuesday's match with a record of 5-6 this spring. They look to rebound from a 7-0 loss at LSU this past Sunday.
Loic Blanco (5-3) leads Stetson with five singles victories this season. Stetson's doubles tandem of Simon Julin and Collin MacNamara pace their doubles group with a 5-3 mark through eight matches. They have won each of their past three matches.
