Jake Wynan Moves On At USTA Futures Saturday

NICELAND, FL -- Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis senior Jake Wynan defeated Kento Tagashira of Japan, 6-1, 6-2 on the second day of the USTA Futures in Niceland, FL on Saturday, advancing to the Final 32 of the USTA Qualifiers.
Wynan is scheduled to play Mitchell McDaniels (United States) tomorrow in the Final 32. He stands two wins shy of earning a main draw appearance to play for a world ranking.
Cajuns junior Will Huyton fell to Gandhi Bhakthavachalam, 6-3, 7-6.
The USTA Futures continues tomorrow.
