HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team is headed to Hattiesburg, Miss. this weekend for a pair of road matches against host Southern Miss and conference foe Middle Tennessee.

“We are back out on the road after a good home stand that saw us go 5-1,” head coach Greg Harkins said. “We are looking to pick up where we left off. The team is excited to open our conference schedule this weekend against a very good Middle Tennessee team. This weekend will be a good gauge of where we stand in conference.

“I want to thank coach Dominic Modise of Southern Miss for hosting us this weekend for a pair of matches. We are going to try a couple things with the lineup and hopefully we can continue to improve and get better.”

Louisiana opens the weekend with a 2 p.m. match on Friday against the host Golden Eagles at USM Tennis Courts. The Cajuns then face the Blue Raiders on Saturday at Noon.
