Game Night Story Lines
>>> The Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team plays its final non-conference road contest of the 2011-12 season visiting Moon Township, Pa., for a meeting with Robert Morris on Saturday at 6 p.m. (CST).
>>> This is Louisiana's second trip to the Pittsburgh area this season. UL visited Duquesne on Nov. 26.
>>> Including the Robert Morris contest, UL has just two non-conference games remaining. The Cajuns non-conference finale is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 21 at the Cajundome against Central Florida.
>>> Louisiana and Robert Morris meet for the first time in school history. RMU is the sixth different opponent this season that the Cajuns face for the first time. Earlier this season Louisiana had first-time meetings with Northern Arizona, North Dakota State, San Francisco, Duquesne and Kent State.
>>> Leading scorer Kadeem Coleby (10.9 ppg) returned to action Wednesday at Ole Miss. Coleby missed the Dillard contest with an ankle injury. The Cajuns are likely to be without the services of J.J. Thomas for the sixth straight game.
>>> The Cajuns have followed up each of their previous two losses with a victory in the next game (lost at Kent State/defeated McNeese & lost at Lamar/defeated Dillard).
>>> The magic number for UL so far this year is 70. When scoring above 70 the Cajuns are 5-1. When scoring below 70 the squad is 0-6
>>> All five of the Ragin' Cajuns wins this season have come when holding the opposition below 40 percent shooting (5-0 record).
>>> Six Cajuns are averaging at least one assist per game, led by Raymone Andrews (2.8 pag) and Elfrid Payton (2.7 apg).
IN THE NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT
>>> Freshman Elfrid Payton appeared on ESPN SportsCenter's Top 10 plays following Wednesday night's game at Ole Miss. Payton was the No. 3 play of the day.
>>> Payton was selected for a play in which he spun through the line and with his back facing the goal flipped the basketball over this head and into the hoop.
LOOKING TO BUCK THE TREND
>>> The Cajuns enter the Robert Morris contest seeking to snap a pair of streaks that have followed the squad through the first six weeks of the season.
>>> UL seeks its first “true” road win of the season (0-5) and seek their first victory on Saturday (0-4).
COMING DOWN THE STRETCH
>>> UL is heading down the stretch in non-conference action. The Cajuns have only two non-conference contests remaining for the 2011-12 season.
>>> Non-conference play wraps up Wednesday, Dec. 21 vs. Central Florida at the Cajundome.
>>> Louisiana starts Sun Belt Conference play on Dec. 31 vs. Florida Atlantic at the Cajundome. That will be the first of 16 straight league games to finish the season.
BROWN ON A ROLL
>>> Josh Brown returned from a head injury suffered vs. Cal State Fullerton on Monday, Nov. 28 at Kent State and is beginning to find his scoring touch.
>>> The senior guard has reached double figures in points in three straight games dating back to Saturday, Dec. 3 at Lamar and in four of the past five games since returning from the injury.
>>> Brown is averaging 11.0 points per game since the calendar turned to December.
A RARE OCCURRENCE
>>> Louisiana was held to 38 percent (19-of-50) shooting at Ole Miss on Wednesday. It was only the fourth time in 12 games that UL failed to shoot above 40 percent.
SHARING THE BASKETBALL
>>> Seven different Cajuns have tallied double figures in assists through 12 games.
>>> Louisiana is averaging 13.9 assists per game as a team and has reached double figures in nine of 12 games.
McCLELLAN STEPS UP IN STARTER'S ROLE
>>> Darshawn McClellan, was inserted into the starting lineup at Kent State in place of J.J. Thomas who missed the game with a knee injury.
>>> McClellan responded well in his first start in a Cajuns uniform, registering a season-high 17 points. He also added three 3-point field goals, five assists and seven rebounds in 33 minutes of action.
>>> The team's leading scorer off the bench before assuming a starter's role five games ago, McClellan is averaging 12.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a starter.
A SPECIAL WEAPON
>>> The Cajuns bench has outscored the opponents bench in all but three games this season.
>>> Through 12 games, the UL bench is averaging 28.5 points per game.
>>> UL's bench has reached 40 points three times (at San Francisco, vs. Nicholls State, vs. Dillard). The bench provided a season-high 52 points in Monday's win over Dillard.
>>> On average, the Cajuns bench is outscoring the opposition's bench 28.5 to 24.8.
IT'S BEEN SOME TIME
>>> The 102 points scored vs. Dillard on Monday marked the first time a Cajuns basketball team scored 100-plus since Jan. 29, 2004 when UL defeated Western Kentucky 110-102.
SERIES HISTORY (First Meeting)

UP NEXT FOR LOUISIANA
>>> Louisiana returns to the Cajundome for the final non-conference contest of the 2011-12 season on Wednesday, Dec. 21 vs. Central Florida.

>>> The Ragin' Cajuns have won three straight games at the Cajundome, each by 20-plus points. UL is 4-1 at home this season.
