Men's Tennis narrowly falls to WSU

The Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team fell to Wichita State this weekend 4-3 in a tight game.
The loss pushes the Cajuns overall record to 0-3, but they did get their first points of the season as Javier Pulgar, Tomasz Krzyszkowski and Neil Schneider all won singles matches.
Pulgar knocked off Vlad Marincescu 6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (2) at the No. 1 position. Krzyszkowski beat Valentin Mihai at the No. 2 position 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-3. Schneider beat Matheus Pereira 7-6(4), 4-6, 7-5.
On the losing end of singles was Carlin Murray who lost 6-2, 6-7(3), 6-3. Yanick Mandl fell to David Cavalcanti 6-3, 6-4 and Piotr Olechowski lost to Adrian Chermaci 7-6(5), 6-4.
The Cajuns lost the doubles point despite picking up a match when Olechowski and Murray beat Mihai and Pereira 8-7(5).
The Cajuns return to action on Monday when they play host to Nicholls at 3 p.m.
