Men's Tennis Loses to Nicholls

The Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team fell to Nicholls State on Monday by the score of 4-3.
The match was close, coming down to the final set, but in the end Nicholls was too much.
In singles it was Javier Pulgar who knocked off Rabu Ionsexcu 2-6, 6-4, 6-2. At the No. 2 position it was Tomasz Krzyszkowski who beat Vlad Popa 4-6, 6-3, 6-1. Carlin Murray knocked off his opponent Phenyo Matong 6-1, 7-5.
For Nicholls it was Eric Fisher who beat Yanick Mandl 7-6, 6-3, 6-1. Dmitry Kozionov beat Piotr Olechowski 6-2, 6-2. Roy Knight beat Neil Schneider 6-3, 6-2.
In doubles play Pulgar and Krzyszkowski fell to Ionescu and Popa 9-7. Maton and Kozionov beat Schneider and Mandl 8-7, while Alexander Rupertson and Murray lost to Knight and Fisher.
The Cajuns return to action at home on Thursday as they take on Grambling at 2 p.m.
