Men's Tennis Falls at Baylor

The Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team opened the spring season with a 7-0 loss to the No. 6-ranked Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas, on Saturday.
Baylor now leads the all-time series with the Cajuns 7-5 and have won six straight against the Cajuns.
In singles play Tomasz Krzyszkowski fell to Denes Lukacs at the No. 1 position 6-3, 6-0. Javier Pulgar lost to No. 11-ranked Jordan Rux 6-2, 6-4. Carlin Murray fell to Attila Bucko 6-3, 6-3. Mandl Yanick lost to Dominik Mueller 6-1, 6-1. At the five position it was Sergio Ramirez knocking off UL's Piotr Olechowski 6-2, 6-2. And finally Neil Schneider lost to Maros Horny 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles action the team of Rux and Horny knocked off Krzyszkowski and Pulgar 8-2. Olechowski and Murray lost to Bucko and Bley 8-3. And Ramirez and Mueller knocked off UL's Mandl and Schneider.
The Cajuns will resume play on Feb. 5 at Arkansas.
